I bought these capsules awhile back for a U87 clone project, and I just have too much going on. They've been sitting in my office in the shipping box for over a year now! These are the matched pair with the included frequency response chart.
They have not been installed/touched or anything.
The RK-87 is a true K67/K87 style condenser capsule: dual backplates, K67 drilling pattern. We match them to within 0.3dB in sensitivity, both front to back and capsule to capsule, and to within about 1.5dB in frequency response, 50–15,000Hz.
The backplates are insulated. The RK-87 can be wired as either a 3-wire or 4-wire capsule.
Each pair includes:
Two capsules
Two "supersaddles"
Two short mounting posts
Termination wires (2 per capsule)
Mounting screws
