I just bought on e-bay one of these AudioVine AV 2012B ultra low distortion oscillators, its made in Germany by a company called Rexotech, its specs are 0.00005% THD, thats THD not THD+N, I believe its THD+N is around 0.0004%, but still it is quite impressive, my Tektronix SG505 is rated at 0.0008% but the manual doesnt specify if it is  THD or THD+N, so either way, this new oscillator seems to be better than the 505, what I like is that it has both balanced and unbalanced outputs with 50 ohm impedance.

Does anyone here owns or uses one of these oscillators?

Heres a link to the webpage https://www.rexotech.com/de-DE/home/produkte/9-uncategorised/58-audiovine-av-2012b.html

What about the settling time? Very often a compromise has to be made between low THD and time to settle after a change of frequency, particularly on the lowest range.

Thats a good question, its not stated in the datasheet

Here it is: https://www.rexotech.com/de-DE/home/downloads/finish/1-documents/22-datasheet-audiovine-av-2012b-1-2.html
