I know this is not perfect place to post this, but i really think you guys should hear and see this. And it's kind of microphone related as there is list of mics used, and these Sennheiser omnis sound efing amazing here.

I've recorded many times in a totally different places - usual halls, theaters and other large spaces and ambience recording is one of the most interesting part. What's really nice in these situations, is that the microphones doesn't have to be any speciall. It's oposite to close miking. Anyway best fun is with non acoustically prepared places, when you need to find the best place to setup the band and ambience mikes ;)

Thanks for sharing! It nice to see the effects of room size and type illustrated  in this way! Brings me back to early experiences of getting the perfect guitar sound in my bedroom, then going to the gig, setting up only to find the sound I had is no more! 😂
