I had a pair of 760's I think. They had a transformer balanced discrete mic pre which sounded really interesting and the EQ was a chip festival, but very good. If you dont have any great gear and cant afford a 1073, this is an excellent direction to go in. They have a nice airy thing happening with them that you dont hear in a lot of gear. I sold those long ago and dont miss them much, but I would be really interested in mixing a record on a console loaded with those modules. Apparently, the bus on the console is mic level, so you can plop any old mic pre in there to use as a summing amp on your 2 bus which is a great feature I think.

There are many different models. Although somewhat similar, they do differ. What model(s) are you looking at?

I have been looking at some modules on ebay
