Hi,

I haven't used my gssl for 2 years and yesterday after hooking it up in the studio it gave me a lot of hum added to the music. The hum also effects the metering, but the music also. All options seem to have some effect on the signal.

Now i measured the voltages on main board and it is not the +15 and -15 on all NE5532 IC's. The test tracks do measure good voltages. At the input stages it is down to -13.2 and + 15.3, same as the VCA circuits. at the output stage there are good values.
Without a scope, where and what would cause this problem?

I build it 12 years ago, could the capacitators already be bad ?

I got it working again by changing all the 22uF and the 100nF condensors and all the opamps!!
I also added the crc board wich works nicely.

BUT i used the material list from Jacob and got 22uF 25 Volt condensors... now i see the schematic and it clearly says 22uF 35 Volts.
Are those condensors gonna fry in time? they are behind the regulaters so they should get 15 volts right?
