Hi Guys,

A few months ago a colleague ask me if I could build a simple LPF & HPF in 500 format. Here's the result  ;)

- Independent In/Out switch for both bands
- 6 dB/oct switch for both bands (12 dB/oct. default)
- Bump function on the HPF (à la Harrison) = 5 dB (modified to 3 dB) resonance around the cutoff frequency.
- LED indicator on every switch

Cheers

Gabriel

Hi Andy,

Thank you for the comment.
Any progress on the new album?

Cheers

Heh! The album’s going well thanks, if very slowly! As I always say, if a thing is worth doing, it’s worth over-doing...

If you were to offer kits of these, do you have a sense of how much you’d sell them for?

Andy

Yes, its beautiful!! I want two kits.
Hope you consider making a bax style eq with the same kind of layout..!
Best
Jo

Really interesting! would it be possible to have the 12-18 dB/oct option?
The 18 dB/oct hi pass (like neve's) is very musical on bass, kick, and many other sources.

Hi Guys,

nice to see some interest in the BF-500 ;)

For 10 kits or more, I could make a small batch.

I started a list of the members who showed interest in the first post.

If you would like to buy a kit, please let me know and I'll add your name to the list.

Cheers
Gabriel

Very nice indeed,well done!
May I ask for a rough kit price in case you‘d get ten or more orders (haven‘t found any yet)?
I/O is balanced I guess, may I ask how (looks like INA and DRV,but it‘s hard to see from the picture)?

Thank you in advance,

Udo.

Hi Udo,

Yes the I/O is balanced using the INA/DRV combo.

I'll try to calculate the kit price this week  ;)

Thanks
Gabriel

Hi Guys,

just to clarify, I will collect payment the first week of October before ordering everything. I'll post the details at the end of the month.

Thanks
