Front Panel Designer template for 2U par metal case?

Gents,

With FPD6 come along, I was wondering if someone has already managed to use a FPD sourced front panel, with a Par Metal box?
Any templates you can share that worked?

This stuff is way to expensive to experiment with!

The dimensions are on the parmetal site. look up the enclosure type by part number and follow the follow the notes for the dimensions of interest. FPD uses reference points to align holes - or at least it used to. All you need to do is look at the dimensions and add or subtract certain distances from the reference points. The reference point tool is a cross hair, then all the dimensions go from there. Or at least it used to be.

You might also be able to send the metal worker a PDF of the front panel with dimensions.

Mention to front panel express that it's for a parmetal enclosure. If you communicate the details sometimes the manufacturers are helpful but ultimately the alignments are up to you.
