Let's say we're not going to invent the warm water and start with:

-decent capsules like the Oktava Mk-012 series
-the capsule can be connected to a new body using  the Oktava -10dB Pad
-EF86 or another decent tube
- a lundahl transformer like the LL1576
-the t.bone PSU Retro Tube II , you can buy it at:

Or is it better to buy the Oktava “mini tube"?
( would love to see the schematic)
 
Alternative :  Gefell  m92 with mv691 or692 Body.  A  6s6b Tube and a  Haufe t14/1  you should. Be able to get all that for 250€
 
Definately e.oelberg idea is more interesting, at least for me ;)
Also you could use gefell transformer for tube circuit ;) These trannies are ultra great.
