SSL 9k preamp pair with DIs. These preamps sound fantastic! They have that big glassy/polished SSL sound. I loved these on rack toms, horns, ribbon mics and anything that I wanted to sound big.
I did not build this and am not sure who did. One of the preamp's phase is flipped. I never bothered fixing because you can just keep one of the phase switches flipped.
