I just thought I’d let the good people here know that circuit specialist has a deal on cases. It’s a pretty killer deal $15 less than usual.

Can anyone share their experience with their quality? I’ve been spoiled in the past with par-metal being a 15 minutes drive. Now that they’ve been run out of town it’s a bit of a drive.

I've used three of their cases.

The aluminum is fairly thick on the front and back (actually I wish it was thinner). The sides are reasonable. The powdercoating is done well and it doesn't flake or anything. The screws fit and there aren't any weird sizing issues.

I wish I had found them before I bought several Hammond cases with lids for about the same price that aren't made better.

Thanks John. I just hope they stay together when you take the top off like the Par-Metal Series 10/12.

Great price. A painted front panel rather than anodized is unusual, not sure I would like it but for the money it's hard to complain.

Yep. My only caveat is shipping. But they seem like good prototype boxes.

They are decent. Kind of a pain to machine the front panel, but cant really go wrong at that price point!
