I have been spring cleaning the workshop/studio in the vain hope of freeing up some space. I cam across a 2inch reel of Ampex tape in a box labelled "River People".  (This is from the say when I vaguely thought of owning/using a 24 track Studer).  Inside is a track sheet (see attached pic) that says is was recorded in 1993 at Epsilon?, by Out of This World Productions and produced by Andy Deevey. Google does not seem to provide any light on this. If anyone has any knowledge of this band or the personnel/studio I would be interested to hear.

I don't want the tape (unless it is worth a fortune) so anyone in the UK who wants it can have it for the postage. I had a quick check of the tape and there seems to be no evidence if sticky shedding.

Cheers

Ian

Sounds close but the personnel listed in the track sheet are Serena, Anoy, Clive and Mark so probably not the same band.

He looks like he could be old enough. I have contacted him through his web page. Thanks for the link.

You are right about the money. Three songs on a NAB spool of 2 inch Ampex would have been a bob or two even in those days.

Cheers

Ian
