Hi

Sorry if this has been asked before.

1. Can someone explain how to wire a switch for hi peak or shelf filtering?

2. Other than Lundahl or Edcor transformers can Cinemag or Peerless transformers being installed and if so what there be sonic benefit?
 
The Pultec hi peak EQ  uses a capacitor in series with an inductor for each frequency.  For a shelving EQ you need only a capacitor but it is a different value to the one used to peak at that frequency. So, if you want to switch between peaking and shelving you have many components to switch.
