I have an M186 Digital Time Delay with no delay output. The M186 (also sold as an M175 with a different maximum delay time) is a fairly rare 1U rackmount DDL similar to a Lexicon PCM42, etc
The unit passes audio. There is a dry / wet mix pot where dry audio passes OK but there is no wet audio to the pot
The unit uses 74-series delay chips, an NE571 compander and an NTE4016B which I believe is used for the bypass switch.
I can't yet verify if there is audio in the delay line and diagnostics would be much easier with a schematic
