Hi

I have a M-audio Ozone keyboard I am using for live purposess.
The unabalanced outputs are extremly sensibel for noise or other dirty things at the ground connector.
Does any have solution to build or buy? Filter, etc?

What happens is when there is noise at the ring, the USB bridge-chip simply fuck-up the communication.

Cheers

You should use an unbalanced-to-balanced transformer (balun) immediately behind the keyboard output, and use balanced cables. This has two advantages: it cuts the ground return between your keyboard and your console/amp/whatever so any ground loop hum will be gone; and using balanced lines reduces noise, because any noise that was picked up by the cable will be common mode to both balanced lines, which will be cancelled by the input transformer of your console/amp/whatever.

This is a good read: http://headwize.com/tech/syscon_tech.htm. They have very interesting reading material in general.
