Mouser??

https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/TE-Connectivity-AMP/1-215309-3?qs=sGAEpiMZZMs%252bGHln7q6pm8SOCK6aAoLgbIkv1jVEs%252bM%3d

Yes, those seem about right. Good find!

I'm guessing 35v caps are acceptable for the electros outside of the marked ones.....and what, 50v+ on the polys and ceramics??? I'm hoping the lead spacing will dictate the diameter of caps??? pretty tight layout .....

There will never be more than 34 Volts across any cap (2 * 17 Volts). If in doubt, you better use 50v electros for the ones smaller than 100u. For the bigger ones, like 470u and 1000u, 35v should be ok - there's not too much voltage across those.
Measure the diameter of the silkscreen circles on the board. Anything smaller (or even slightly larger) than that should be fine. If you are building stacking boards, none of those should be higher than about 27~28 mm.

I'm actually looking at the 3.68mm diameter for resistors??? guess it doesn't matter??

When I buy resistors at Mouser, I usually take those 1/4 watt resistors: https://www.mouser.de/ProductDetail/271-22K-RC

Replace "22K" by the value you need.

Any specs or parts reference/links to the bridge needed in the PS
IDC socket and ribbon cable???
STROM 3-way connector?
2-way and 3 way pcb connector
various 2-way and 3-way connectors and headers?

The following are just suggestions by searching quickly through Mouser. But I think they should work fine.

Bridge rectifier:
https://www.mouser.de/ProductDetail/Diodes-Incorporated/KBP04G?qs=sGAEpiMZZMtQ8nqTKtFS%2fNgL6ac11fJuCyyUyY4zVII%3d

10-way IDC connector and header:
https://www.mouser.de/ProductDetail/Wurth-Electronics/61201023021?qs=sGAEpiMZZMs%252bGHln7q6pm%252bxnWLfLL2%2f9kALOa%252bbl%2fcw%3d

https://www.mouser.de/ProductDetail/Wurth-Electronics/61201021621?qs=sGAEpiMZZMs%252bGHln7q6pm%252bxnWLfLL2%2f93mYWvuMVZAY%3d

10-conductor Ribbon cable:
https://www.mouser.de/ProductDetail/Amphenol-Spectra-Strip/191-2801-110FT?qs=sGAEpiMZZMsJiFh04Lj2rqXP8f7Pzi2%2fuo5IKEyXVGI%3d

If you've never assembled ribbon cable before, look up "IDC Ribbon Cable Assembly" on Youtube or so. It's not so hard to do ;)

For the 2- or 3-way connectors you'll need something like this:
https://www.reichelt.de/PCB-Connectors/PS-25-3G-WS/3/index.html?ACTION=3&LA=5700&ARTICLE=14827&GROUPID=7525&artnr=PS+25%2F3G+WS

Reichelt sells those as kits including the sockets, headers and ready-made crimped wire - which might be easier for you but I wasn't able to find something similar at Mouser. I just don't know the correct english term to search for - they should have it, though. Maybe someone else could chime in?

Ok good to know....Those are 2.5mm in diameter....I had a bunch of Dale RN series and the smallest are 3.68....the standard in those is like 5mm....It seemed a bit big........

Thanks for all of the info!!!!

The Reichelt link above was for the 3-pin kit - consisting of pin, header and crimped wire (0,25 m).

Here it is again for the 3-pin set:
https://www.reichelt.de/PCB-Connectors/PS-25-3G-WS/3/index.html?ACTION=3&LA=5700&ARTICLE=14827&GROUPID=7525&artnr=PS+25%2F3G+WS

And the 2-pin set. The pictures are misleading:
https://www.reichelt.de/PCB-Connectors/PS-25-2G-WS/3/index.html?ACTION=3&LA=446&ARTICLE=14825&GROUPID=7525&artnr=PS+25%2F2G+WS&SEARCH=PS%2B25%252F2G%2BWS&trstct=pos_0

The mouser links you posted might also be correct, but you'd have to crimp the wires yourself. I do it all the time but it's quite some fiddling without the right tools (which I don't have).

I’m interested in 2 boards if you have enough.

They are still available. Just PM'd you :)

While trying to refine the GR meter calibration process within the guide today, I've found that the original value of resistor R51 needed to decrease.  The former value also worked fine but the new one gives a better range for the GRSCALE trimmer.

The guide is already updated with the new value and the (slightly) changed procedure. If you already have it, just download again. See the link in the first post.

Maybe I could just use it parallel 10vac secondary in lieu of the 9v ac wart?????

Or are these bad for noise and hum???

This.

As far as I know these kind of transformers show more EMI radiation than toroids. On the other hand, the good thing about a wall wart is, that it's outside the case and doesn't induce hum into the circuit. However, this transformer should work and if you find a good spot and angle for it where radiation into the circuit is acceptable, you're good to go.

I’m so excited I can start this project in the next days.
My Banzai order is out, the Frontpanel was shipped today and my mouser order will arrive on Wednesday.
The only thing is that the 25k log pots are not in stock at Banzai.
I hope, that it take not to long until they arrive.
Will post some pictures.

I saw that, but thats a mess because of shipping to Germany.
I pay more for shipping as for the pots.
i made a 1HE front panel for you.
Look if you can use it, than I would made the silkscreen.
Just rename *.txt to fpd

Till, unless I'm doing something wrong, this is the panel for the Hammond box again.

Dateien verwechselt?! ;)

yes I saw it to late :D
changed the file in the post .... now it should work.
Thomas I hope it is okay.

Absolutely! :)

If this is for 'NRG-Cases' by frontpanels.de, all the holes for pots and switches should be 1.5mm higher up because of the bottom plate's thickness. When using 8mm spacers, that is.

Hey thanks!!

PM me if you want me to send you those pots... I have 2 now....... I can always get a couple more more... Knock on wood.....

Hey thanks for your other.
Banzaimusic told me they get them on Thursday. I hope thats right.
If it take longer, than I would send you a PM.
I attached the fpd with silkscreen from Thomas, I hope it is okay and sits right over the pots.
As usual, rename the txt to fpd and you can open it.

Good work, Till!

But it seems, you accidentally moved the panel's 4 original holes for the rack screws and chassis screws higher up as well.

i will check it !

EDIT: it should be right. They have are the same dimensions I use for my WhistleRock 312 Preamp. They sit perfect with Franks case.

TillM provided me with some more silkscreen options for front panels (for Hammond boxes) and I made a few slight measurement corrections to his 1RU version. Now it should fit Frank's NRG cases (frontpanels.de) perfectly and/or Don Audio's V-Cases.

The FPD files are now included in the guide archive. See the link in the first post.

Thanks Till!  ;D
