Anyone ever heard or seen an EMT mixing console ?

I get the chance to buy an EMT mixing desk. the only thing I know is that it is made by Studer.

Yes, EMT was also building mixing consoles.
AFAIK they were not built by Studer, but the design is very much inspired from the 169 series.
I would say the quality of design and components is a bit better than on the 169.
Some custom consoles had a multitrack routing module, to 8 or 16 groups.
In the 80's IRCAM in Paris used EMT consoles for the touring concerts of Pierre Boulez.
Last year I did a complete maintenance service on a 20/16/2 model.
Best,
Guy

afaik a german company named ABE continued building EMT Consoles, after EMT stopped  production in the 80's.
A good friend of mine has a large EMT/ABE 40Ch Studio Console. Quality is good.

...markus :)

Here in Germany they show up on eBay from time to time. They are probably as high quality as Studer or Semrau. One small issue might be that most EMT equipment use a lot of Tantals, my experience is that they tend to short when they fail and can damage other parts of the circuit. A full recap would be good.

Another plus with EMT Equipment is that it usually is very nice to service.

There's a 1970's ABE installed near me, no idea if it relates in any way to the EMT products.
