Toroidal Power Transformers
« on: May 17, 2018, 10:55:19 AM »
I'm going to pick up a couple of power transformers for a project I'm working on.   It's either between Hammond or Triad.   Both of the transformers will be toroidal type.  My question is are all toroidal transformers created equally?  Or which brand would be better/less flux/etc...  Here are the two different transformer links that I'm considering.  Not sure if one is better than the other as far as quality control etc....

Triad

Hammond

Thanks,
Nate

Dont worry about it, all of them are pretty good

I use Multicomp toroids from Farnell or Talema from Banzai

Any works well for power duties, buy the cheapest one, move on
