The actual capsules or just the perspex (acrylic) sphere?
The capsule has variants over the course of it's history aluminum, mylar etc. It is an omni capsule set into the sphere. This is a great starting place for experimenting. The are other ways of getting a similar response using other mics and perspex balls. As you will see in the Saturn Sound site info and elsewhere.
Neumann used to sell, may still, the present capsule as a repair item but it is 1500.00 USD!
