FEELER: BigUgly "RoyerMod" boards (MXL 2001 body style)
« on: June 27, 2018, 05:18:10 PM »
Seeing if there is any interest in another run of these.

Here is the schematic:

Here is the board:

There is the older PSU:

and schematic located here: https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=sites&srcid=ZGVmYXVsdGRvbWFpbnxibHVlamlubmF1ZGlvfGd4Ojc3MGQ5NTA4OTk2NjA1ODU

BigUgly designed an upgraded PSU with more filtering and a different pattern switching theme. Here is a  drawing of the board and the schematic:

NOTE: I have no experience with the new PSU design.

The voltage into the PSU depends on what B+ to use, which also then determines what voltage divider resistors to use in the mic circuit. I went with a lower (70shVAC) in for ~100VDC B+ and adjusted.

Shipping is fixed US$5.00 for USA. For Canada/EU will have to quote depending on your desired method. Estimated pricing:

Mic: US$7
Old PSU: US$11
New PSU: US$15

Hello ,
Realizing this is almost a year old, would you have any of these left ??

  Thanks,

I'm out of them. I do have one with a tube already soldered in place and a couple of 470k resistors.

PM sent. I don’t have PSU boards. I’d check the white market there’s probably a PSU you could adapt. Or if you’re doing single sided or card/Omni only there are a couple of  EBay ones that’s work

  Thanks,
