Hello -- I came her to post a question and saw that I posted that same question two years ago.
Might as well try again.
Does anyone know anything about the circuit design for the current standard DPA microphones, which they sell as the MMP-A, and in a different design (and sound) smaller form MMP-C?
I read some commnent from someone in the know that it was "actually a pretty cheap" and mediocre design, and the MMP-A sells for $500 clams by itself, yet the mics sound extraordinary thanks to those B&K capsules.
Just wondering what they are strapping those 0v B&K electret capsules into. If anyone has any insight, would be glad to know.
