A group of people in the UK got hold of a lot of Mullard equipment. Vacuum pumps and other stuff from the production plant.

I'm not sure what's playing here. Brimar closed it's online "New Old Stock store". But the links keep changing. What I bookmarked last night, to post here, gave an error 404 this morning...

It would however be GREAT news if the factory survives and gets resurrected. I sure hope they find the people they seek so the knowledge about these great tubes doesn't get lost.

This project has been around a few years now. I would dearly love to see a UK manufacturer of valves but I am not holding my breath.

Cheers

That's what I figured too. But now it seems they've found a budget to buy the gear and are looking for people to help.

Or has that been goin' on for years too?

Last time I looked was a couple of years ago and I am pretty sure they had some specific equipment in mind at the time. Their big thing at that time was testing and re-branding tubes from China/Russia. Looks like they still do that.

Cheers
