I know the CAD M179 is supposed to be a good microphone already, but are there any known mods? Maybe some way to decrease the current requirement or a capsule swap? The continuously variable polar pattern and small size are what interest me. I'd like to throw one of those replacement C414 EB capsules in there if it's at all possible.
