The new Mac mini's are out.

Major updates from the 2014 model plus you can go back to personal tweaking them by going back to removable ram and a few other things.  Not bad....

Although the drive is soldered in.

But I'll probably get a new mini eventually. I've been waiting for it for years because I want to get a new audio interface but I needed to know what connectivity would work. It can do AVB which I think is compatible with MOTU's AVB gear. Although you can't control the audio interface functions / patching / routing over AVB and the 828es has the older Thunderbolt connector so I guess I'll have to use the USB2 connector to USB-C on the Mac. I'm still trying to figure out how it would work obviously. If anyone has recommendations I would love to hear them.

Well the drive being soldered in is not that big a deal,  my OS drives tend to be small.

But it Is getting close  to upgrade and work now gave me a laptop so no longer need one.
