Hello and thank you for your help.
I am building a Ribbon motor and trying to understand the following:
My motor body is made from steel and the corrugated foil is made from aluminum. should i connect the foil strip directly to the steel motor body or i should create a separation ? I am referring to the top and bottom parts where the wires connect to go to the transformer.
What option should i go with ?
1) Motor body --> Foil --> PCB (Double sided connected to the wires)
OR i should do
2) Motor body --> PCB --> Foil -- PCB (Double sided connected to the wires)
I hope that my question is clear enough.
Thank you !
Tom
