So i have a ga 5 that i got from a friend to fix up. The schematics are on Gibson's website link below. I'm wondering why input 1 is tied to ground? Input 2 is not tied to ground.
The amp just hums. It is from 59 and a mouse lived it for a little while so i have to replace wires for sure and i plan to recap and check for to make sure everything is connected correct.
I haven't taken a good look at it get but i would take any helpful hints and would like to know why input 1 is is tied to ground.
