Hi everyone,

I am looking to create a new voltage follower daughterboard of the API 550A (datatronix version). Can't find nothing on the entired internet. It would be very helpful to have hi res close up photos of top and bottom of that little board as well of mainboard, due I need to replace defected components. Can anyone who have this version help me?
Please send via PM so it keeps hi res intact.

Thank you in advance.

I have  550a’s. And they don’t have a daughter board for follower.  It s all on one main board.  I’m unaware of follower daughter boards.

You must have another version. Thank you anyway, appreciate it.

Anyone else?  :)

from  Paul Wolff's notes:
"The Datatronix 550A.
After pressure from everyone, Sunset Sound stepped up to the plate and paid for
the design of the 550A to be remade with removable switches and a removable trans
buffer board at Datatronix. They got the rights to the first 500 and then
Datatronix could sell them. They sold them and used them in the new Sunset Custom
console in Studio 1."

suggest you contact Sunset Sound.

Thanks for the info. I will try that.  Will report.

Is that a different circuit from the original API? That circuit is not a secret and a pcb can be done in a matter of minutes, it's roughly 10 parts.

Different board. Around 30 components. I need to understand how to combine the 4 discrete OpAmps (Voltage Followers) in the same daughterboard and make them out as a 14 pinout SOIC configuration. I need pictures of the original daughterboard.
