ive got a circular mic input trans. and its got a metal housing with no mark to which side is the ground, and which are the leads. but one side of the pins is marked with a red dot.

its the cinemag for the 312 mic input
Aah.. the red spot then identifies pin1. Look at the documentation to find pin descriptions..!

gotcha. we'll it only fits 2 ways on my board. it can either go in the PINK or WHITE input pins. hmmm.
