going thru this stereo, plays fine but we notice  that a 1.4 volt DC value does not match our measurements, (green dot)

Left channel is -.142 and right is .866,

how important is it that this node sits at 1.4? (green dot)

checked the resistor ladder marked in red it is all good.  used 1% resistors in there, diodes ok,

probably transistor mismatch?  stereo plays fine, so me thinks it no is deal,

what do you think? thanks for any  help!

Looks like nominal voltage should be 0V at that node, but measure more voltages around the output stage to see if obvious imbalance is apparent there. I ASSume final amplifier output voltage is 0V or close?

Hi CJ
The voltages inside the LOOP are typical voltages. As John said as long as the OUTPUT VOLTAGE is very close to 0 volt (I prefer 10mv max) you are ok. The trim pot R713 will adjust the OUTPUT VOLTAGE and the internal loop voltage will move. The only internal voltage matching I would worry about is H701 & H702 base voltages being close to matching.

thanks you  guys!  :D

yes the pots was dialed for 1-2 mv dc offset at spk jacks and about 15 mv between collectors (idle current)

ok then...on to the sansui  g-7000,
