I've modding a series 800.opamps and bypass caps thing . the master is sounding great and quiet.. the micpre also is much better than stock ..
the fader amp I replaced with both and lme49710 and a 6171 both drop noise considerably..
BUT when I solo the channel, of which is tapped at the insert return, the channel is dead quiet and better sounding..
I wondering if there is something that can be done around the fader amp to bring things down yet more..
I'd also like to dead bug a balanced line receiver and maybe driver.. any help would be much appreciated.. here is the schemo
