This is a rare example of a VP26 Rev A.2 that Jeff Steiger built himself, as evidenced by the serial # name badge on the side; he's confirmed this.  Functions and measures as it should, matches the measurements of a later Rev B I have exactly.  Date code on input transformer is from 2010.  2520 is a LAZ Pro LAZ2520 designed by Peter Purpose. 

If you want to match it to a modern one you can spend $22 for the 'nip and tuck' bundle which updates the faceplate and knobs to the current look.
