Perhaps vacuum (to suck down warped vinyl flat) or glue.

Unclear how tone arm is tensioned properly in opposition to gravity (spring tension?)

Kids, don't try this at home.  ;D

record is held on by a standard disc stabilizer of screw-on type (as opposed to weight-type)

the beauty about tone arm tension is that it is a simple matter of shifting it's balance slightly in the wrong direction, as it really dosen't care which side the pickup faces :-)

I didn't believe what I heard first, it's so counterintuitive that its almost frightening :-)

Much respect for having a really outstandingly weird idea - and then going through with it.

Ejner, the weird guy, claims that the only real difficult part was getting it fully horizontal, hanging there...

Probably difficult to scratch songs like a DJ and change records up on the ceiling.    ;D

Cool! Love it.

Spose the vinyl is less dampened, but who cares  ;D
Why is it people love to believe and hate to know?
