hello

i´m building my first g9 micpre and have a question i didn´t found an answer in the meta for.

should the interstage cap be 220nF as printed on the board or 470nF as told in the part list?
best henning

Either/Or. You will not notice any difference. Whatever you have on hand.

Just make sure the voltage rating is at-or-above what is specified.

I used 470nF for C3 and C103( from The Schematic )
That's work great.

I have all the PCB making equipment. Where could I read more about what exactly is involved? Thanks !

the 470nf if i remember correctly is the right cap to use there. this value will have a small effect on the tone of the preamp
very small, you could use almost any small cap... (well not any)

also, that is a neat method for the face plate. I'll have to figure it out and try it some time.

470nf in place of the 220nf you mean?

yes, the interstage cap. i believe 470nf is the right value tonaly. (not the 220nf) but both will work
