MNATS 1176 Question

I'm still in the trouble shooting stages of my dual 1176 using mnats
boards and have a quick question.

Where do you hook up the ground of the iec to? I built two using
Jakob's boards and just strapped IEC ground across the xlr input
and outputs pin 1. They work great!
On Mnats boards, and I know something else is gotta be wrong,
when I strap the ground across pin 1 on the xlr's, I get signal through
my power cable from the 1176. I pulled the ground strap from the IEC
and the problem went away.
Shouldn't the ground from my IEC go somewhere?
Can anyone whose built an mnats' version out there give me some advice on this? Please!

I usually just connect it to the chasis at the nut that holds the IEC connector on. That's what I did on my pair.

Are you using mnats' board?
Is this how others hooked up their mnats 1176?
