Hi

I have been using the GSSL on my drum buss for a while now, but I have noticed the gain is  low, I would always have to turn the make-up gain all the way clockwise to get a acceptable level.
I am using the GSSL on  my  console unbalanced inserts. I have recently read about the unity gain 15k - 27k resistors to the THAT inputs on this forum, I presently have the 27k resistors installed.
Would it bring the gain up if I were to replace these resistors with 15k's

Thanks, Tony

Hello,

With 27K you should be very close to unity gain, so if you have to turn make-up all the way clockwise to stay at unity maybe you have a problem somewhere.
Check your voltages after the unbalacer and the resistors value around the vca.

Best,
Cardinen

would be best to place this question in the official help thread..
