I have a Radial Bassbone OD of a friend's that they plugged a power supply other than the factory supplied. It was slightly over voltage (18v versus the factory 15v), but I suspect that the power supply pin polarity was reversed from what the Bassbone expects. Hence component D1 is fried (see picture) and unidentifiable.  :( Does anyone either know what this component is or have a Bassbone OD they'd be willing to open up?

Thanks!

Trace out the power circuit, if it's a standard reverse polarity protection diode then pretty much any power diode that fits the footprint will do. (through hole would be 1N4007 etc, but this looks surface mount) Also check that the board isn't charcoal and conductive now. I've had pedals with this kind of 'sacrificial protection diode' issue where I've had to scrape out big sections of board and bridge across with wire.
