Hey all,

I almost completed this entire build about 5 years ago, and am finally wanting to finish, and I’m running into confusion and lack of understanding with regards to how to measure and connect the 5 “legs” of the power supply. My situation is specifically:

-pre PCB is built according to K&K schemo
-PSU PCB is built, using a Hammond 269JX, an NTE5326 rectifier, and a large black circular capacitor that says something like jV 500V, -10% +30%, and 0 -20M.
-My question is what voltages and which leads should be connected to the Mic Pre PCB from the PSU?

I’ll be attaching the PSU docs here as soon as I can but I’m not at my desktop. Please let me know if and what I can further provide to help clarify this.

Best,
GC

If it is a RCA BA2 preamp project, there will be B+ (250v) and ground, plus a heater voltage F+ 6.3v AC or DC. That gives you 4 legs. Maybe the 5th is a 48v DC for phantom power.
You'll need to post some docs to get help here or go to the maker of the kit.

I found this page on the Bc-2b
