yes for 115V position where the two primaries are connected in parallel.

For 230V the primaries are generally wired in series so switch would be in opposite position of shown.

300V cap may be borderline for 240VAC.

The cap needs to be a "Class X" type, which means it is rated for use across the AC lines.  I agree, 300V is way too low.

Most (European) class X caps are rated 275VAC.

Thanks.  I was not concerned with the cap, just the switch part.  It'/ been a while since I had to wire one up.  The transformer has 2 primaries at 115 v, yes in series they do 230.  Thanks guys.
