One amazing drummer and Wrecking Crew alumni!

Check out his discography, and other interesting facts.  I liked this quote:

"If Hal Blaine had played drums only on the Ronettes' "Be My Baby", his name would still be uttered with reverence and respect for the power of his big beat."

So I had to refresh my memory:

Wowzer!   From 1963.

RIP Hal.   All the beats I grew up with came from the radio hits this man played on.   The golden days of sidemen, 90 years and a great life of “Bang on the drum all Day.”
