Hey guys!
I have several of these old boys here, and still love them. However, they've got a very annoying little click as part of the design in order to mute the DA chip when the audio stops to likely spec out better for noise (they're not even noisy, so it's an odd choice to add this). I've seen this in other converters, but there's usually an option in software or with a jumper to remove it. Not with these, sadly. I've read about a user on Gearslutz that mentioned he was able to mod his so this has been defeated, but he hasn't replied to my emails at all...
I'm wondering if anyone here has done this mod and knows how it can be done?
