This not common to see this that's why I play a little but if It's a boring game I can stop.

there is a second chassis with a power amp, I'll show later (not that special)

ok... switches shift various LCR network (not shift register) if that can help  ::)
 
It looks like it might  be part of an organ of some kind , oscillator for a bass foot pedal maybe.

I confirm this is an oscillator board, but not an "organ"

This is an Ondioline, analogue tube synthesiser from the 40'
this one seem around 57 (date punch at some pot)
