Hi

I had a more dis combobulated version of this question in the mixers forum, but I wonder if there isn't much traffic there, or maybe I asked it badly.

I'm building 4 EZ1290's currently. I'm curious regarding how to sum the PM1K channels into the last BA(183/283) portion of this card?

Is it as simple as taking the PM1000 bus bars and connecting them to a line input transformer like the Carnhill VTB9046 which then routes to the BA183? Without anything inbetween?

Here's an example. According to this page, Dan Alexander did the work.

First schematic shows the PM1000 channels' output to the bus bar with the 33K summing resistors.

And here, for reference is the input to the PM1000 summing bus. Notice the switch to select between 16 channels or 24/32.
