Inductor for Siemens W295B EQ?
« on: June 15, 2019, 05:12:57 PM »
Siemens W295B ...six positions in the original design. I assume voltages are all nominal line level ~1.23.

So the frequencies and inductance values i have are

192 mH - 700 Hz
170 mH - 1k
112 mH - 1.5k
85 mH - 2.3k
53 mH - 3.5k
30 mH - 5.6k

anybody have a source for this inductor?  Thanks!  cj
If I can't fix it, I can fix it so nobody else can!

VTB9044 gets really close to 5 of the 6 taps? After a little capacitor and maybe resistor tweaking, it would be difficult to tell the difference.

Those are the inductor values I worked out. I’m having Cinemag wind me one, but it’ll be 4-6 weeks. I am open to playing with different sources in the mean time.

Also -- the 700 Hz is a goof up, it should be 235 mH.

You *could* change the cap values to tweak, but you wouldn’t get the same Q.

I suppose the originals were made by haufe, but I can’t find much information on them.
