Looking to hire someone for soldering work in the next couple months. Someone familiar with the various audio through hole components, but would also prefer the ability to do Rohs SMT as well, nothing smaller than 0805 or SOIC.

Someone local to the LA area that already has the appropriate tools would be ideal.

What are you working on, how much work is there to do, and how much do you pay?

This is my current as-yet-incomplete project. (my enclosure design, my build, my photos, my kitchen)

I have no experience with RoHS certification or SMT components, but both are accessible to me and only a small step away from existing skills.

Send me a PM if interested.  But for a rough ballpark the first project would be a 500 series module,  about 25 unique parts,  100 total parts,  400 solder joints, built in batches of 10-20 at a time. Pay is negotiable.

The important thing for the first round is someone skilled at using lead free solder.
