This is a tube preamp from a Viking Reel to Reel Recorder. A very Eye Catching vintage piece.
It features 12ax7, 12av7, and 12au7 preamp tubes, as well as a 6x4 rectifier and 6e5 magic eye tube. It has a very unique feature, in that the 6e5 tube serves as a level indicator. As for footprint, It is about 12 inches wide.
I haven't powered it on because I don't have a variac to slowly ramp up the voltage. It is in complete condition, but it is being sold "As Is" to be refurbished and modified for studio usage.
The vintage tubes alone should be worth at least $75. This could be turned into a cool studio piece.
