Fender suitcase rhodes

This is a puzzler.  Got a suitcase Rhodes at the studio, and the sound is intermittent. I have narrowed it down to the pickups. I can use the accessories inputs and get sound without any issue. I replaced/fixed. The rca cable from the pickups to the preamp and while that has helped  I do get the occasional intermittent keyboard and  if I unplug and reconnect the rca the keyboard is back. Any ideas outside of a shorter pickup on a time or a harness issue?

Have you tried plugging the harp’s RCA cable directly into the power amp section and bypassing the pre? Should help you narrow down whether the issue is in the preamp or not.

well we can  inject test tone into the RCA and it does not become intermittent.  but I'll try that.
