Lomo 19a19 Disassembly

Just wondering if you guys had any tips for disassembly off a Lomo 19a19. I'm having a bit of trouble.
Someone told me you just unscrew the the 3 screws at the bottom and the body should slide off, but I haven't found this to work. Do I need to pop the microphone grill cap off on the top? Is there a technique to doing this without damaging the microphone?

You have probably sorted this out by now, but yes you have to take the top grill off the mic before sliding the guts out. Also, the capsule end is hinged where it attaches to the shaft so don't be surprised if it moves - you did not break it!

I actually haven't had time to sort this yet. Thanks for the warning about the hinge though! Does the top grill just pop off? Or is there a mechanism?

It is just a press fit if I recall correctly.
