these prices seem high but not when you consider what some people are charging for 8 1/2" x 11" sheets,
Nomex 410 is the premium insulation, good for 1 KV per mil, , so 20 mil (.002") which offer 20 KV protection. etc. this stuff was about 2000 dollars a roll back in 1976, so probably twice that now.
used in the best transformers, handles solvents and oil very well,
and this stuff is slit which makes it easier to cut to the size you need,
i guess they trim the outside of a 1000 ft roll and sell the strips.
they have 2,3,5,10, 15 mil, in various widths, check the "Select" box to see the offerings,
800 ft will last you a long time!
