Best punchy 500 series API DIY preamp (kit) in Europe

Hey guys,

love this site and finally I managed to get registered.
I wanted to ask all ya'll who have the experience and pleasure of owning and comparing a couple of different preamp flavours what you'd recommend for an API-Style preamp for punchy and fast ( transient heavy) preamp/reamping.

My favourite would be FD312 Heiders from CAPI but they're way too expensive since they're prebuilt and import tax would add up.

I've been eyeing a pair of MP512s from Soundskulptors. How do they compare to modern apis or capi?

Any other preamps I'm missing?

It's top quality.
They compare equally, you should read more and learn more,
312 they're all the same thing: input transformer, 2520 opamp and Output transformer.

It's pretty simple, no secrets or mysterious things
