Alps SPPH4 series push button caps
« on: December 27, 2019, 04:02:22 PM »
Anyone know a source of push button caps that fit the Alps SPPH4 series of push buttons. I think the opening needs be about 3.3mm square.

Cheers

If there's a harder way to do this, I haven't found it yet.

These?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/uk.rs-online.com/mobile/amp/p/push-button-caps/1239565/

They look like they will fit. Too big and rectangular for my needs but on the same data sheet I found these:

https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/push-button-caps/1239566/

which are round.

Thanks for the find.

Cheers

Hi ruffrecords,

finally, did you use the round caps together with the SPPH4 series? Did they fit well?

Thank you!

I bought some SPPH4 push buttons and some caps. The caps fitted OK but I did not use the switches in the end because they are too tall. If the plunger had been 3mm or so shorter they would have been fine.

Hi Ian,

thank you for your reply! Good to know! I think I'll get some switches. For my application, the tall design fits well.

Hi Ian,

I apologize for the delay! I'm currently located in Europe, in Germany. But no worries, I can get some parts by myself.
Thank you for your kind offer!

Have a nice Sunday!

Greets,
Elmicha
