I'm building a dual API style mic pre. It'll be 2 preamps in one rack chassis with an outboard PSU.
1. Should I connect pin 1 of both input and output XLR's directly to the chassis and nowhere else? (the pin 1 problem question)
2.How should I deal with "star" grounding when I have and outboard PSU...should the star center be in the PSU box or in the mic pre chassis?
